Names or No Names??????

Ok, admin...please clarify for me....ARE NAMES ALLOWED ON AFF OR NOT? I see posters writing about preachers/televangelists/singers. A lot of times they are pretty harsh too! I have done this myself a few times. When is it ok/wrong to do so?
For instance, right now there is a discussion concerning JG and he has been said to have walked away? Now his full name is used here, but other times when a company name is used, it is said that is in poor taste?
I have seen this from both sides too, not just con/lib.

So...what sayeth ye?

I understand the "famous" explanation, ie. Falwell, his name is in the public arena....but this other stuff has me confused/perplexed

I thought everyone was supposed to use initials instead of names, regardless.

Of course, I could be wrong... might want to wait on someone else to answer... and don't take my word for it.

The question was has anyone heard of Jabo Green. Not does anyone have any dirt on Jabo Green.

Outing another user who goes by a nick, via their real name is not allowed. To my knowledge using someones name is not wrong.

In addition I think it might be frowned on to report things said by a person, using their name, that was said in private or on a board like CAF
