A blessing yesterday
Since we are building the retaining wall for the church on our campground almost everything that comes in we have sent to South Brazil. We are in North Carolina but will travel later today headed to Arkansas for a school reunion this weekend at Brother Holmes church. ( That is where I went to school growing up)
I mentioned to Brother Alvear we had just about exact enough money for gasoline and not long after that our car started really shaking. We prayed and drove to a tire place and the man told Brother Alvear we really needed to buy new tires but rotating them would help if we did not want to get new tires. He said he would balance them and a few things but even without buying tires it would cost 175.00 (dollars).
I told Brother Alvear we better do it or we might not make it to Arkansas. So we both prayed and as usual before it was over Brother Alvear told them about Jesus. (No one escapes him..ha...)
When they finished working the owner said I want to talk to you, (Brother Alvear) after a few minutes Brother Alvear returned to the car weeping and through tears he told me the owner of the shop said, Today we want to do something for Jesus...we are NOT going to charge you all anything for rotating the tires and the work we did!
Oh...how great is our God.
