Wow! That's a cool photo! Did you sell it to a magazine?

Thanks.

This would be a dream of mine to actually make a living doing this, but if you browse other photos on the 500px.com site you will see that the competition is pretty stiff. I have spent quite a bit of time looking and marveling at pictures others have posted there.

Note: If you have children you may not want them looking over your shoulder if you plan on browsing. It is a VERY professional site but there are quite a few, how should I say it, pictures (tastefully done of course!) of women of a more.... ahhhh... revealing nature.

Re: Sold my first photo!

Very cool pic. What do you shoot with? We shoot Event and Wedding videography so have a full video rig but our next purchase is probably going to be the Canon t4i DSLR that came out this week. Canon finally has added a good continuous auotfocus for the video function (as long as you use the new lens they have mated with it). We would use it for the creative "glidetrack" shots and other creative shots before and after the ceremony and probably shoot the reception video with it also. Then we would also have a cool still camera for shots like yours just for fun!

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

I use a Canon 60D and one of a few lenses. My main work horse is a 17-40mm f/4.0 L lense. I also have a 50mm f/1.4 prime that I use quite a bit. I have yet to use the video function on this camera. LOL
