A couple of years ago one of my daughter's in law, mother came to live with us...She did not raise her daugter and lived a rough, rugged life...her live in was a dope dealer and on hard drugs...She decided she wanted to come live with us so we "stole" her away with her son...She has never really been delivered from some habits and has done some ugly things that has caused us tears. Most people would have kicked her out by now but tonight she prayed. She is a long ways from praying through but at least she prayed. I am asking you precious prayer warriors to please help me pray for I know her only hope of ever being saved is up here in the north with us.
She could be a power house for the Lord for she has many talents and works well with people and the devil knows that so it seems he attacks her 24/7. No one but Brother Alvear knows the hours I have sat with her at my house talking with her and praying with her. Many times late at night and into the early morning hours...lately she has really needed me and has cried much.

I deeply have a burden for her but this lady needs all the prayers we can pray for her. Many times during this time she is with us people have wondered how long can I stand under the load but it is your prayers that strengthens me.

I don't plan on lettting go until victory comes for her. Will you help call Fatima's name in Prayer? Thanks...

Well, here I am....I can't sleep again...Rather than reply on the "insomnia" thread about needing to drink my hot chocolate, I will reply here. ...Yes, Sis. Alvear I will remember Fatima's name in prayer. I know what it's like to work with young people (and older ones) that others have given up on and who in the eyes of the world seem hopeless...Over 30 years ago, someone might have looked at me and put me in that category. ........Never, never, never give up on her or on what you're doing.

Thank you TalkLady...Your post means a lot to me. Please pray for this lady...God has brought her so far. Only her daughter, my son and husband and I know WHERE and HOW FAR she has come. So many have told to it is not worth it but something inside of me tells me to keep praying and beleiving. I have been talked about by some for keeping her around but I know one soul saved is worth all the wealth of this world and it is not only her soul she has a son and is is so happy in the church...Please pray...thanks

Fatima went on her own and prayed again tonight at service. Please keep praying for her. We have special services this weekend. Thanks my dear praying friends.

It is hard, but it is not impossible with God. For some reason she reminds me of myself. It is a breaking process. Little by little God is breaking away at the hardness of her heart.

when i saw this thread at first i thought it was about one of those catholic statutes that shed tears ? they call it some type of miracle but it's the ____ whatever of Fatima.
