The NIV text is from the Alexandrian Egypt scripts which were corrupted. Its From the Roman Catholic Church. Search it. Westcott and Hort Blemished it.

The KING JAMES VERSION came from the Antioch Manuscripts and the Textus Receptus which 95% of the texts agree with one another whereas the Alexandrian Text only are about 5%.

This is one of the GREATEST verses testifying of the trinity. That is why the Jehovah's Witnesses leave it out. They do not believe in the trinity and they do not believe that Jesus is God. Why does the NIV leave it out...? Whole books have been written on the manuscript evidence that supports inclusion of this verse in the Bible. Reader, do you believe in the triunity of God? If so, then this deletion should offend you. People are wresting and perverting the scriptures to their own destruction.

you better look at your number again there is things added to the kjv that is not in the majority of the mss, its not even arguable. its just a lack of study.

I can show many parts of addition in the kjv that is not in the original mss. many add-ons post 1100 a.d. plus not to mention anything in italics is a addon as well

The link about NIV calling Lucifer Jesus is stupid. "Lucifer" is a made up word. It NEVER appeare din the oldest texts. The name is a combination of two latin words that would have never appeared in the Hebrew originals. Lucem Ferre.

The proper translation is the star of morning, or morning star, bright one, etc. The NIV and many modern translation DO get this one right by not continuing the falsehood of calling the being Lucifer. Lucifer doesn't exist.
