Have you ever noticed..

Something that I have noticed that many TOP camp meeting preachers do not have large churches...they seem to be good preachers but some how cannot build a large church...any idea why?

Maybe they are in tune with the plan of God?
How big a church did Christ assemble, before His death?

Loaded question. I'd ask GOD.

Well, it is not so important that it is a "large church" but is it a church with members who are full of the spirit?

Maybe they're out preaching somewhere and not paying enough attention at home.

Pastors are only 1/5 of the five-fold ministry; it could be that the camp preacher is called to be a Teacher and ministers powerful, enriching teaching-based messages; or, they're called to be prophets and minister the revelations of God for that meeting. As long as they stay within the calling to which God has called them for that time, God will anoint it and the Spirit will move in life-changing ways.

Yes, I have heard it said, and I pretty much agree with it, not everyone has the talent or calling to pastor large churches. For some reason we have equivalted large with successful. But if I had to choose between a large church or a small church that has a powerful prayer and anointing on it, I would choose the smaller.

Just because one may have oratory skills doesn't necessarily mean they have pastoral skills. Those are two separate gifts. I know of a great pastor (mega-church) that didn't have great oratory skills.
