Miracle Child
A couple of Sunday's ago my pastor opened the service holding a young boy about 3 or 4 years old. He then told the child's testimony.
When this little boy was about 2 his mother's boyfriend beat him with his hands or fists so badly the little boy ended up at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville.
His eyes were swollen shut, he was paralyzed on the left side of his body, and he was having a seizure every hour. This was the condition he was in when my pastor first saw him.
The doctors said he would be partially paralyzed and have all kinds of medical issues. I am glad to say that God has healed this little boy and he runs around all over the place with no paralysis, no seizures, and no apparent residual effects from the horror he endured.
I know not everybody is healed and I don't know why some are and some are not but I am thankful this little boy has a chance at a full life.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

I don't know the details. I would assume the boyfriend is in jail for a very long time. I will find out. I believe the mother has custody. I will check. I know he is at church with a female.
If I remember correctly I think my pastor was at the hospital visiting someone else and saw this boy. If that is the case I am guessing after he prayed for the child and the child was healed and left the hospital she started coming to church. I will find out and report back.
