So America has a choice of a mulim and a mormon to be their president. Apparently the leader of the free world. Well, that just shows where the world is at.

I'm not impressed that Romney is Mormon, nor is it troubling to me.

The video is not about Romney being Mormon, it mocks both candidates and makes them look like weirdos. At the end Obama is also dancing and singing in underpants. I find that this video represents everything I think about our current political system. It was found in my FB newsfeed this morning where lately I feel I go for my daily dose of political stupidity.

While I would love to see campaigning stopped everyone else seems to enjoy it immensity. In MY perfect world each candidate would, without help, write a resume for the job as well as a vision statement for the U.S.. Then each would be interviewed with a list of questions submitted by the American people and their answers televised. That would be it. We would go to the polls. No more craziness, no more millions of dollars and no more funny (got to admit this one is funny as heck) youtube cartoons. Someone somewhere was probably actually swayed by this video...That's what we've come down to. I find the whole process a disgusting, wasteful, sad mess that does not help me one bit to fulfill my civic duty.

I was just curious to know how others would see it.

Apparently my uncle, who is a Mormon says Romney is not a "real" Mormon.

Re: My only political post of 2012

While I am not thrilled about having a Mormon President and obviously don't consider Mormon's Chrisitan, I appreciate that Mormon's share Judeo-Christian values and think that Romney has good character.

I would rather have an honest Mormon of good character be President that someone who is a Christian in name only and has poor character.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Didn't have time to watch the video - but this is great or have a Lincoln-Douglass style debate and then vote.
