Today retired Army Captain Terry M. Hestilow shared a copy of a letter to Texas Senator Jim Cornyn via his Facebook page. This is a very strong letter that holds nothing back and I thought everyone should see it. Below is a verbatim copy of the letter.

Re: Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and that agencies preparation for war against citizens of the United States of America.

Dear Senator Cornyn,

It is with gravest concern that I write to you today concerning the recent appropriation of weapons by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) that can only be understood as a bold threat of war by that agency, and the Obama administration, against the citizens of the United States of America. To date, DHS has been unwilling to provide to you, the elected representatives of the People, justification for recent purchases of almost 3,000 mine-resistant ambush-protected (MRAP) armored personnel carriers, 1.6 billion rounds of ammunition (with associated weapons), and other weapons systems, when, in fact, the DHS has no war mission or war making authority within the limits of the United States of America.

It looks like the sides are being drawn. On Emperor Obama's side you have the DHS, elements of the military, and panzy soldiers of the UN versus most law enforcement, elements of the military, and the people.

I can't imagine that their goal would be just to squash us, but you can't ignore the supplies build up. What ARE they planning for?

I'm hearing that Obama WANTS the economy to crash, which would trigger an awful lot of problems everywhere for everyone.

From what I've been hearing, Snopes is no longer a reliable source to find the 'truth', as the founder is an extreme Obama supporter.

They (snopes) bought the media line hook line and sinker in this case. Infowars (Alex Jones organization) did not break the story in this case, although they certainly did pounce on it. They are not buying 1.6 billion rounds at once but they do have the order in for a 5 year period along with the armored carriers. I've listened to employees from various ammo manufacturers talk about how these contracts work on a number of talk programs including the NRA's. It is an open ended order which allows the DHS to say "We need these 200 million rounds" and all work on fulfilling other orders has to stop until this one is completed. It has gone a LONG way toward furthering the ammo shortage going on, which also seems to be one of its designed outcomes.
