Where Was God When I Was Tempted?

The donut shop made such a beautiful Chocolate Buttermilk donut! Where was God when I was tempted with eating such delicacy? He was there saying, "eat my child." After all, donuts are the modern day manna.

Brother JL I understand because every time I see the light on at the local Krispy Kreme the Holy Ghost sends me for a couple fresh hot ones and cup of coffee.

I am so blessed to be able to discern the voice of God!

I am tempted to agree here... Except the coffee part...

I love Krispy Kreme!
Nothing like a hot and fresh Krispy kreme that melts in your mouth!

I'm a Shipley's man myself. Give me some good, hot & fresh Shipleys donuts. Oh yeah... You start to eat them but they just disappear somewhere... probably the calories are disappearing too.

I think He said "treadmill." You missed the voice of God.

Y'all are just pitiful.

Do not mock or under estimate the power of the donut!

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."
