Prayer request
I had a couple episodes of SVT (very fast heartbeats) last fall. The first had my heart racing at over 250bps; the second, just over 200bps. I had an ablation procedure done towards the end of last year to stop the SVT. The Dr. believed this procedure would put an end to the SVT. It was deemed a success, and I've been off meds almost 6mo with no recurring issue.
However, recently I've felt flutters and abnormal beats. Nothing really fast, just abnormal beats. The panic and anxiety attacks I had last year are back. I have nightmares that I'm going to have a heart attack and die.
My cardiologist gave me a monitor to record any abnormalities; said it was to help me ease my mind, since the ekg looked good. Well, it hasn't eased my mind in the least. My heart rate goes well above 100 just walking across the room, according to this machine. Jogging with my daughter had it over 160.
Sunday was one of my worst days. The machine went off 5 times while simply standing shooting hoops. I wasn't running the court, or even moving around much.
Please pray for my mind. A lot of this I think starts with the anxiety and panic attacks that put me under stress. Pray that I feel peace and that any abnormal issues with my heart are healed.
