Strongs Concordance

I have a general question, not bashing or anything but has the UPCI/Apostolics church always refrenced the Strongs Concordance?

LOTS of people use Strong's, not just the UPC.

Re: Strongs Concordance

Growing up, I remember going into my father's office and using the massive Strong's Concordance he had on his bookshelf. Most people I knew used Strong's, including "charismatics."

Huh? Strongs is not the official concordance of the UPC nor any Oneness group I know of

Re: Strongs Concordance

As a young Christian attending a Baptist Church, we had several choices for Concordances. This was back in the 1950's.

1. Many Bibles have a concordance in the back with maps, notes, etc

2. Crudens Compact Concordance

3. Youngs Analytical Concordance

4. Strong's Exhaustive Concordance

The saying was: "Crudens for the crude, Young's for the young, and Strong's for the strong."
