Christ Church Member Named Female Vocalist Of The Year!

This is old news actually since I just now got around to watching the Gospel Music Association's Dove Awards show from a few weeks ago (LOL)!!!

I was surprised to see that Christ Church member Natalie Grant won a Dove award for Female Vocalist of the Year!!!!

Last Sunday I sat across the aisle from her and her hubby and her two tiny twin babies. Those babies were quiet the ENTIRE church service. On the way out after service I complimented her on her babies and didn't even know I was complimenting the Female Vocalist of the Year.

That is one thing I like about CC. It is known as a church of celebrities but they are treated like everybody else.

The only time I have heard Natalie Grant's name mentioned over the pulpit that I can remember was in passing as they were thanking those helping with the Youth Choir.

Mrs. CC1 has been sick all week with the Crud and I thought I had escaped it until last night. Then the sinus started draining and today I feel like a Mack truck has run over me.

So much for all of my plans today and the big motorcycle ride after church tomorrow. Arghhhh!!!!

I have a feeling I will be watching church on the web tomorrow.

Her husband, Bernie Herms is a pretty amazing producer / arranger also!
