Stevie Wonder boycotts FL due to Zimmerman verdict
I have to say that I am honestly and sincerely perplexed by all of the attention this case has received. From opening statements thru closing statements, this was a clear cut case of self-defense; proven by evidence, injuries, police reports, witness testimony. There HAS to be a case out there, in America, that can legitimately be used for the agenda(s) being pushed - one where race WAS involved - where it clearly was NOT self-defense. Why use THIS case - one that is almost laughable due to the overwhelming evidence in favor of GZ?
Anyway, Stevie Wonder won't perform in FL until they repeal the SYG law.

I almost hate to say this...but I guarantee you Stevie Wonder did NOT watch the Trial

Some people, America on the average, look for conflict. They look for a way to be against someone else instead of trying to draw their own conclusion. It's been my experience that if a person looks up to a celeb or someone in general they tend to adopt that person's point of view & not work to develop their own. I grew up in a oneness church that almost everyone followed the same opinions & mindsets of the leaders, no questions asked. I remember one instance where back when Christian Laettner played for Duke & had what was called a "bowl cut" hair style the pastor of the church I attended would go nuts over that hair style and say how horrible, unGodly and wrong it was. Fact is that it is only a hair cut. But because of this stance he took there were people in the church that their kids had that hair cut that showed up at the next service head totally shaved because the parents didn't want them to be sinful for not listening to the pastor. It was nuts...

I thought he was going to boycott Florida because Special Prosecutor, Angela Corey, doesn't respect the court system and is continuing to libel George Zimmerman after the verdict has already been handed down.

I was over him by the early 80's. Now, if Lionel Richie called a boycott, it would be hard to not like his music even then.
