I have read about 1/2 of it so far. I already have a stethoscope and a BP cuff and a penlight, so I have done some of the tests. I like the do it yourself approach.

We also have the kit to check your blood sugar level.

Thanks for the heads up. Amazon allows you to look inside the book.

I put it in my Wish List to wait for my next order. Just ordered some gun parts and another performance of Oliver Twist that I didn't have. This one is by the BBC which is always very good. Now I have four.

Re: For the Health Nuts Amongst us

Wow. So.... have you diagnosed anything yet? What sorts of things does the book help you diagnose?

I could have used the stethoscope a couple of weeks ago when I suspected my son had pneumonia. I treated him with home remedies, and they worked, and he is completely better now. He was having trouble breathing, and had bright green stuff coming up from his lungs. He has been prone to pneumonia since he had RSV as a baby, and almost died. The doctors told me his lungs had some damage, and he would always be susceptible to lung viruses and bacteria. Normally, I would have taken him to the doctor for antibiotic, as he gets pneumonia about once a year.

However, we prayed, and I gave him oregano oil, 2-3 drops every 2-3 hours, plus we did eucalyptus steam baths, hot compresses to his chest, and this was very effective. He wasn't able to cough at all, because his chest hurt so bad, but after the compresses and eucalyptus, he began to cough, and after that got better. Saved us a lot of $$ by not having to go to the doctor. Had he not gotten better, a doctor visit would have been necessary, but thankfully, our prayers and home remedies at home worked!

I know I have some adrenal insufficiency. I pretty much knew that already but this confirmed it.

Thanks! My daughter's mid-wife can do a very extensive overall test of everything. I am going to schedule an appointment with her sometime this quarter. She lives a couple of hours away, so our schedules have to work.
