Christian Patriarchy

This article is interesting.

http://www.patheos.com/blogs/lovejoy...roduction.html

I'm curious if anyone believes in the doctrine of Christian Patriarchy here.

Re: Christian Patriarchy

I read the nutshell version given in the first paragraph. If that nutshell version accurately reflects the concept, then yes, I believe in "Christian patriarchy".

Re: Christian Patriarchy

The few husbands that I know that "fully" embrace this concept, as described in this article, are quick to make exceptions when the finances get tight rather than going out themselves and getting a second or even a third job in order to provide. Gotta pay that boat note!

Thankfully, most husbands I know understand the concept of loving their wives as Christ loves the church and they give themselves for her.

Thank you.

Our joy is within and goes everywhere with us...
even without a boat.

With GOD and Christ in our lives,
we have many guarantees that work.

Isa.33
[16] He shall (SPIRITUALLY) dwell on high
his place of defense shall be the munitions of rocks:
Bread shall be given him. His waters shall be sure

In our times ...
Which Church (gathering) did you find to be the gathered to Christ?

Thanks...
My regards,

Re: Christian Patriarchy

I found the Hidden Church of the Holy Cross to be the fullest; but i wonder if the point isn't to brighten up the corner where you are?

Amen. Jesus and the apostles are clearly feminists.
