There is no "humane" solution. How can one rid the world of a dangerous religion? Remember, Islamic law executes "sinners" and "apostates". They behead homosexuals and have even executed women who were raped for inciting adultery. It's violent and dangerous. Not to mention what Islam believes about prophecy. Islam teaches that the Umma (believers in Islam) will unite and bathe the world with blood to hasten the coming of their "messiah figure" the Mahdi. They believe this Mahdi will wage global Jihad against the wicked with Isa (Jesus) at his side working miracles. They believe he will establish the final Caliphate in Jerusalem and seek to make peace through a peace treaty. However, in their model, it is the Jews who break the peace and the Mahdi destroys the Jews and un-repentant Christians from the face of the earth.

Remember, these are not just radical views of a crazy minority like we see among cults in the West. These are TENANTS of their faith.

The religion itself is a time bomb. Any "true believer" will eventually seek to destabilize the planet to bring the end of the world. In essence... it's a global radical dooms day religion.

the sad part is that many here believe this is actually representative of Islam, when it is in truth virtually nonexistent; a construct of the news--might very well even be actors in some cases. Believe what your eyes see at your peril, at least.

Dabiq is a propaganda magazine produced by ISIS that discusses their relevance in Islamic prophesy. The Hadiths also vividly describe the Mahdi and encourage Muslims from all over the world to join the fight when they see black flags (like those flown by Jihadis) flying over Khurasan (Iran and Northern Iraq)...

Hadhrat Buraidah (R.A.) says that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said: "There will be many armies after me. You must join that army which will come from Khurasaan."

On the authority of Thawbaan (May Allah be pleased with him), the Messenger of Allah said:
"If you see the Black Banners coming from Khurasan go to them immediately, even if you must crawl over ice, because indeed amongst them is the Caliph, Al Mahdi."

So, it is inherently Islamic. Essentially, these guys are seeking to fulfill Islamic eschatology. I do believe that anyone who doesn't believe this has not truly studied the subject well. I've even been out to Islamic forums wherein they are discussing these events and their prophetic significance just as we discuss our theology and issues that may have prophetic significance. Google it. There are even propaganda videos all over YouTube about all this. Even Mahmoud Ahmadinejad addressed the United Nations, praying for the hastening of the Mahdi's coming, admonishing that the world embrace him when he arrives, and claiming to have even sat at a table and having spoken to him. So, to say that it isn't representative of Islam and that it is a construct of the news is a largely uninformed position.

This is an ideological enemy that truly believes that it is their destiny to establish the final Caliphate, embrace the coming Mahdi, and destroy all non-Islamic powers in preparation for judgment day.

ya...no. Not even in Thessalonians do i read this. How are men able to distort Scripture so? Ezekiel even spoke against this heresy. It negates 'prepared bride.' It furnishes a nascent believer with excuses, i believe is the sole point. When did "I came that you might have life, and more abundantly" turn in to "I can't wait to die, and go to heaven?"
