Does Your Church Have a Functioning Prayer Room
Does your church have a prayer room being used? The churches where I grew up all had prayer rooms which were used before services. Since moving here, I've seen only one church which had a dedicated prayer room, but rarely did anyone go in there. What I see now are cafe's or coffee and donut bars in church lobbys.

The church my son attends has a prayer room that gets used before every service and sometimes inbetween.

We used to have a prayer room, but we've since torn down the wall (between it and the sanctuary) and the sanctuary itself is our prayer room.

My Church has a prayer room... its across the hall from the sanctuary and right next to the ministry offices. It has two entrances. One of which goes to outside and has a special code for getting into for things such as 24-hour prayer chain.
Rarely is it used for anything else. (outside of prayer)

No, it doesn't have to be a separate room, though it's even more rare to see people pray in the sanctuary because of others coming in to find a seat and last minute practices or tune ups by the band.
