Are You a Partial Trinitarian?
I was just wondering...
...since the Catholic Church and her daughters believe in three PERSONS in the
godhead: each PERSON being "...the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy
Ghost..."; and these three are ONE God, not three.
Then there are those apostolics/pentecostals that also believe that the godhead is
made of the Father (a person), the son (a person), and the Holy Ghost (a person).
But there are not three persons, but ONE person, who is God (i.e.: God is a person).
Now,if I add the persons, there are three persons (not ONE); just as there would be
three gods, not ONE!. But if I MULTIPLY, then there is definitely only ONE God, not
three gods; and only ONE Person, not three persons. So THAT, Beloved Brethren, is
where I have erred: I have been adding and not multiplying!
These men are GIANTS before me!

Re: Are You a Partial Trinitarian?
Apostolics believe the following:
There is only one God (YHVH).
God was manifested in the flesh (ie God became a human being).
That one God is only known in the Son, Jesus Christ.
That one God, YHVH, is Holy, and he is a Spirit.
That Spirit is the Spirit of Christ, the Spirit of Jesus.
Therefore, that Holy Spirit is only known in, indeed AS, Jesus Christ.
There is one God, and he became man to die for our sins.
Thus, there is only one 'person in the Godhead' (to use trinitarian terminology).
The incarnation is a 'great mystery' according to the apostle Paul. But it is very simple. One God (our Father, who is the eternal, omnipresent Holy Spirit, who became man, the Son of God, who died and rose again the third day).
There are distinctions of roles, distinctions of operations, but not distinctions of persons, beings, or distinct individual existences.

Very interesting:
(1) The NAME of promise.
(2) Is "manifest" synonymous with "become"?
(3) see (2) above
(4) so God is one of MANY spirits?
(5) The Spirit is the IMPARTATION of God's very self to man
(6) "No man knows the Father but the son..."
(7) God prepared a body for the Word He sent forth...
(8) it is a great mystery to the world...but we (the Church) have the mind of Christ.
Apostolic: follower of the apostles' doctrine.
In what NAME are all of God's promises fulfilled?
