Leaving Our Possessions
"Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have
followed thee."
Have we truly "left all our possessions"? What about our idle conversations;
or our WIT, that we often use to belittle others...to be able look so smug in
front of those we consider to be someone? What will be the Lord's answer?
Will it be to point to our share of a bowl of porridge? Instead, let it be...
"But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time...with persecutions;
and in the world to come eternal life."
