Re: The Economics of Happiness

Can you post a paragraph or so that you deem important to the article? I don't like clicking on sites that I'm not familiar with. Thanks

Re: The Economics of Happiness

This is a film that basically outlines the destruction that importing democracy has had on the indigenous population of Tibet, but it is actually more useful for understanding how we have gotten to where we are as communities; or rather how community has been destroyed by the pursuit for a living wage.

and ps Films for Action is a great site! at least i've never had any warnings, and i'm cranked down pretty tight lol

Re: The Economics of Happiness

Ok, thanks for more information. My internet is so bad, so I won't be able to watch that long of a movie ... too much buffering.

I read the preview of the movie, and I agree with the premise that it is best to get things locally as much as possible, but of course in our day and age, we are too heavily dependent on things that can't be had locally, but it is a great mindset to have, to at least look and try to find the things you need locally, rather than depending on a superstore to provide them for you.

Re: The Economics of Happiness

ya...i posted this with Esaias in mind, as an answer to "how to be prepared for tomorrow," which imo is not a good place to be, spiritually. Not that i am immune to it, understand.
