My Cat Doesn't Like Crackers and Peanut Butter

In the evening I sit down to read while I'm eating crackers (non-gluten) with peanut butter. my cat will climb up the side of the office chair and ask for some. When I hand her the cracker and peanut butter she turns up her nose. She does this from time to time with other foods. I'll give into her begging and give her something and she will take it and hide it. We find it later. My cat had taken some chicharrones, but didn't eat it. She just hid it. That disappointed me, my two other cats love cracklings and bacon. All my cats hate soft cat food, but love dry cereal. Still don't understand why she doesn't like peanut butter.

My Siamese, Strax isnt big on begging for food....Cookie, my tortoiseshell however is a MAJOR moocher and will stalk your food. My wife is currently breastfeeding and had some takeout on her coffee table and while her hands were full Cookie ran up and snatched a corn nugget and a tacquito and scampered off with them. She does what we call the "stalk and Creep" where you will have something and she will crouch with eyes half lidded and creep closer...and cloooooser....aaaaaand cloooooooooser as if she is saying "Im just looking pay no attention to my cuteness" and if you let her or get up or walk out of the room shes all in your stuff pulling a snatch and grab. My ShiZu, Special will pull the same tricks but she will only do it when you're out of the room or if the light is off. If she senses you can see her she wont touch your food but if you cant see her*and she will actually look at your food and look back at you to check if you are looking at her or if shes in your line of site*. We have left the room only to walk back in to find boxes of poptarts decimated or a whole container of icing licked clean. Dont ask me how a little flat faced dog can lick clean a whole container of icing...its one of the mysteries of the universe and we will probably never know.

Tiger and Princess were born in our outhouse. Princess died a few years ago. Tiger sleeps a lot now. But he still goes out at night. Especially now that the snow is gone.
