The One With Seven Eyes!

God opened up His Word in a powerful way yesterday in church. The eyes of the Lord look to and fro throughout the whole earth to show himself strong on the behalf of those whose hearts are perfect toward Him. (2 Chr. 16:9). People who know they can't do it on their own, but not only that, they ALSO know GOD is their help and not man or anyone else, are the ones God looks for. Zech 4:10 mentions the same eyes that look throughout the world for those who know they're small, but can gain help from God. And there, we read it is God's "seven eyes." Why "seven eyes"? 7 is the number of fullness and completion. He SEES ALL. He does not have seven literal eyes. He just SEES ALL. The next time we read of "seven eyes", it's with the Lamb in Rev 5 who died, and prevailed over death. Now, remember, the one how has "seven eyes" looks to show Himself strong for the weak. He'll be strong FOR US when we aren't.

God had those seven eyes according to Zech 4. And now God is manifest in flesh with those eyes! Why? To show Himself strong through that incarnation on our behalf. How?

We could not die, pay the debt for our sins, and then resurrect again to enjoy fellowship with God because we could thereby render ourselves free from sin. We're not that strong. But JESUS WAS THAT STRONG, and He was strong FOR US. So, He died, defeated sin, and resurrected from the dead FOR US!. ON OUR BEHALF. The Lamb who had seven eyes was STRONG ON OUR BEHALF! We weren't holy enough to to go the throne, but HE WAS! He did it FOR US. And now our relationship with God is restored. And it's all because the one with "seven eyes" came in the flesh to be strong for us in a way we never could be, and died to rise again and thereby prevail over death, and bring us to HIMSELF!

I have to study this some more!!!! Praise God, everyone. Have a kingdom-blessed week!

Re: The One With Seven Eyes!

The greatest vision John saw in all the visions recorded in the Book of Revelation was in Chapter 5 when the Lamb went to the throne and redeemed us from every nation by His blood, thereby making us kings and priests!

Could the "seven eyes" be indicative of the Seven Spirits?

Yes, I think so. It's all related.

Re: The One With Seven Eyes!

I believe the seven spirits of God mentioned in Isaiah that would make Christ of quick understanding are all toward this same purpose of God showing Himself strong on our behalf. Thanks for the reminder! I'm going to check that out.
