Re: Leviticus 20:2-3 God's Wrath Will Be Upon Us.
Over 60 million slain. What makes it worse is that states rise to the occasion to attack the merciless killing and it goes to courts who overthrow their laws.
Kentucky has tried to get free from this sin. We have a good Governor who actually fights.

Lev 20:
22 Ye shall therefore keep all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: that the land, whither I bring you to dwell therein, spue you not out. 23 And ye shall not walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out before you: for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.

Re: Leviticus 20:2-3 God's Wrath Will Be Upon Us.
I think many people have the sense that we are on the edge of a precipice and about to go over the edge.
As the failure of our institutions become obvious, people are being drawn to alternatives. People are showing interests in downsizing, tiny homes, homesteading. being off grid.
People are turning away from traditional ideas of what constitutes success, ie, pursuing a college degree, working as a drone in a factory/office.
I think people are ripe for a grass roots movement of change. I'm wondering if we are going to have to go over the edge via socialism before people actually take action?

I remember pictures and video from the Fall of Saigon at the end of Vietnam...people desperate to escape and leave...what if there came a command to not leave but to beat back the enemy advance and to not only reverse the retreat but to win the conflict...what if their success was set in stone if only they just obeyed their commander in chief...
Time for the Church to drop their luggage and set their faces back to the place they are chomping at the bit to leave.

Did the 1st century Church win their conflict? Did the doctrine of the Apostles defeat the Roman Government? Was their desire to convert Roman society or to see the coming of Jesus?

One of the many factors that contributed to the fall of the Roman Empire was the rise of a new religion, Christianity. ... In 313 C.E., Roman emperor Constantine the Great ended all persecution and declared toleration for Christianity. Later that century, Christianity became the official state religion of the Empire.http://www.ushistory.org/civ/6f.asp
Yet, the Eastern half of the Roman Empire flourished with its Middle Eastern Christianity.
So, yes, the doctrine of the Apostles defeated the Roman empire more ways then you know.
