I Met Bro Epley today!!
I had the honor and privilege of meeting Bro Epley today at the AMF conference being held in Columbia, TN. Bro Groce had been scheduled to preach, but was not able to be there, so I missed out on meeting him, and hearing his wisdom.
Bro Epley is one of the finest men that I know, and I give honor to this man of God. We had meet way back, but not since being on the forums together. I had a camera with me, but the batteries were dead, so I only got a "bad" picture with the cell phone. When my wife got ready to take the picture, she had to get us to move, because she said the light coming in the window made Bro Epley look like he had the Branham Halo around his head. I will download the picture from the phone later and post it.
Many of you remember that the Columbia, TN church had burnt down a little back and Missionary John Wilkins was accused of starting it. Bro Wilkins was let go, and was present today as well, reminding me that he had sent me an email about a year ago that I had not responded to. haha!! Anyway, the church was really nice, and well decorated. Very nice church, and Bro Mobley is still a true Gentleman.
CC1, I don't think they improved much on the sound system.

Maybe I should repost that they dropped the charges on Bro Wilkins, as the way I got it wrote, it looks like I was saying he got out for good behavior and attended the service.

WOAH -
They Did NOT
Drop The Charges -
They Had The Trial
And
Elder Wilkins
Was Found
NOT GUILTY !
Then
The Judge Apologized To Elder Wilkins
He Futher Stated
That The Charges Were Unfounded
And
Never Should Have Been Brought Against Him !

Thanks for clarifying Bishop1. I kept thinking they had finally dropped the charges. But I do remember them going to trial now that you mention it.

Went to trial, but I wonder how much this inoncent man had to shell out to lawyers to defend himself? Sometimes, there is no justice even if one is pronounced not guilty.

someone else can answer better...but I think the authorities (IOW, someone other than the church) brought the charges against him.
