What should I vote in favor of?!

With KP's thread on Resolution 4 in mind, this thought just leaped in my inner beings...what should I vote in favor of?!

I should vote in favor of truth and honesty...both giving it and receiving it.

I should vote in favor of loving with the love of the Lord...not verbal expressions covering underhanded treatment, but true godly love.

I should vote in favor of reaching for souls...some refuse to reach back, but I declare that God and His people reached back for ME...how can I do less?!

I should vote in favor of aligning with those who are called by the Name of the Lord...disagreements and differences in application and description notwithstanding. If Christ has called you His own and filled you with His Spirit, who am I to refuse you?!

I should vote in favor of speaking words seasoned with the grace of the One who saved us...every good cook seasons what they are preparing because it adds zest and life to the dish. It is no different in my speech...words seasoned in love and respect and godliness add zest to my walk with God and bring life to me and the hearer.

These are things that should come as naturally to me as breathing in and out. If I say that I am one of His, I shouldn't have to work at answering you...it should be a part of who and what I am.

Lord, this day may I remember that I have voted for righteousness and peace and love...
