Most Butchered Song Lyrics!!!!!

I'll start!

Let us have a little talk with Jesus
Let us tell him about our troubles
He will hear our faintest cry

For most of my life I sang the last line as FAMOUS cry!!!!!

This is a story my former pastor John Kershaw always told and I thought it was worthy of this thread... when he first came to the United States.. to attend ABI (I think thats the name of it LOL) in Tulsa, in his first chapel service they sang I Live On...

That song drove him absolutely nuts for years and years... he wanted to know why they were singing about some cartoon characters wife... but he sang it anyways........

OLIVE OIL YES OLIVE OIL!!!

The worst song I've heard goes like this;

He ain't never ever, done me nothin' ever done me nothin' but good.
He ain't never ever, done me nothin' ever done me nothin' but good.
Nothin' but good, nothin' but good.

Wasn't that "Live in London"? That was a wild album in it's day. that and the Imperials "Watery Grave". I think I recall correctly that a visiting Evangelist preached against them......

There will be peas in the valley.

I am a turnip with a hole out through the end.
