Celebrate Recovery

Anyone use Celebrate Recovery?

Our ministry team went on Saturday to all day training. We are very excited about integrating this into our ministry vision.

Please share your insights if you have experience with it?

Re: Celebrate Recovery

It's a wonderful and effective ministry. However, the leadership challenge over the long haul is to keep team morale and commitment up because it requires an tremendous outlay of man hours and energy.

I think we will integrate it into our Midweek service, were calling it breakout groups. So we won't add another nite of services. Also try to rotate leaders.

Re: Celebrate Recovery

We're starting our second round of Celebrate Recovery. It meets on Tuesday nights and has been tremendously successful so far! We have a recovered addict in our church who leads it for us. We have people in there with every imaginable addiction. They do praise & worship and then have the class.

Re: Celebrate Recovery

I went and looked at the website and I'm very interested I know of Apostolic churches that use the Alcohol Chemical Treatmens Series, and have been effective ,however I felt it fell short in some areas. One thing I have seen is that in some of the churches I have been in people with need in this area come to the church, but it seems no one has ministered to them adequatly and they walk away without relief. I am a Delivered alcoholic and am interested in helping people walk out of that trap.
