Gifts given? Received?

So what did you all get (or give) for Christmas this year? My wife and I really kept things simple but we did exchange a few things. By sheer qty, the dogs got the most presents but my wife got me a couple of stress balls (very important) and the game Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim for the PC. I got her a Garmin GPS and Dexter: Season 5.

my husband got Rosetta Stone: Spanish
and I got some clothes from The Gap

my Sister got some really nice gloves and cap for when she runs,
and she got me a silver necklace with a charm on it that says "13.1" to commemorate my first half marathon

Ive heard Skyrim rocks, I lost a few friends in DAoC (an online MMORGP) to that game.

Me and the wife got some small odds and ends, with three girls we tend to spend all the money on them. They got a guitar (15 yr old), keyboard(17 yr old) , Ipod (11 yr old), new phones, clothes, and about a $150 each in gift cards(all three) .

What type of keyboard? When I was 16 my folks got me a Casio CZ-5000 synth. As primitive as it was, I loved it!

She just started saying she wanted to learn to play a few months ago so we started small till we see it is something she wants to stay with. Got a Yamaha, not sure the model #, I remember its a 72 key i think. Has some extra stuff, I like that you can download songs to it and it will show you how to play them.

Re: Gifts given? Received?

I gave my presence as a gift, received the warmth and affection of my extended family for theirs, took some pictures, gathered information, and enjoyed myself exceedingly.

Re: Gifts given? Received?

We went light this year. Got my wife a $150 Pea Coat from Macy's for $40. She got me 2 shirts and 3 ties.

Best thing. Neither of us wrapped them! We just went and bought them after X-Mas!

Oh, and we both got SW:TOR!

Re: Gifts given? Received?

As I do not have a television, nor heard a Foldger's commercial on the radio in years, it was by sheer chance. I do love coincidence. Maybe I should write commercial material for them. Aroma, fragrence, presence, all in the best cup that you will ever drink (would that be lying as I can not stand to drink a cup of that stuff except at greatest need?)
