I met Bro. Tim Joiner
On this trip to Belize, I finally met Bro. Tim Joiner and several of his family members. They have the same pastor back in Louisiana as the Alvears, and have known them for a long time. They met us at an ice cream place in Spanish Lookout, and I got to spend some time talking with them all. They are a sweet bunch. I want to get to know them better on these trips to Belize. He has offered to help us in any way that he can when we are down - so thoughtful.

He's also really funny.

Yes he is true Christian. And yes he is hilarious! He has preached for us once and heard him preach a mission confrence in Bakersfield and he did an excellent job.

He definitely loves the people of Belize. He's been a missionary here for twelve years.
I am such a fan of missionaries, so I was fascinated just getting to meet them and talk to them. And we really didn't even have much time together. But I will definitely be seeing them again on my trips to Belize.
