PA systems are used by rock and roll musicians to incite worldly crowds into a frenzy. If Jesus could speak to a crowd of thousands without a PA system, then if a minister is in His will, a PA system is not necessary. Motor vehicles are modern conveniences for lazy people who are not willing to walk from place to place.
There are countless statistics of people operating motor vehicles under the influence of alcohol and it is reported that these vehicles are used to go to all sorts of nefarious destinations. Since no man is better than Jesus, and we should follow the example of the apostles, door-knocking and other sorts of witnessing should be carried out on foot.
The human condition is such that they look for easier ways to do things, and door knocking while on foot is the tried and true method of the apostles. Furthermore, because of the multitude of ways electricity can be used for evil purposes, we disapprove of any of our people having electricity in their homes. Electricity is the gateway to all sorts of sinful activities, be it viewing television, playing rock and roll music, and other dastardly deeds. We admonish all of our people to refrain from any of these practices in the interest of spiritual progress and the soon coming of the Lord for His church.
