Goat Football
Yesterday our family had our Christmas/Thanksgiving combined.
Of course the kids always want to play football. Most of the grandkids joined in, including a couple of 2 year olds.
Well our billy goat got out of the pen and decided to join in. It was hilarious. People grabbed the babies and ran them to a safe place. And then decided to chase the goat out of the pasture into the pen. He was not cooperating at all...........They chased, he chased. He reared up and decided to charge a few that were close to him. People were yelling, I was laughing and shouting helpful instructions.
They would get him back in the pen and start playing again. He would get back out and rejoin the game. One of the kids got butted, it was too funny. I of course was standing there without a camera. Although I did receive a new Kodak digital camera for Christmas when we opened gifts. I will be sharing photos soon, and I even have a shot of my tree. I will also post a picture of the billy goat. He is too cute.

Re: Goat Football
That is toooo funny. I'm sure you were shouting "helpful instructions" like; "just grab a hold of him, he wont hurt you" or maybe " lower your head and stomp your foot and he'll run away"...... lol.
Reminds me of running hogs at grandpa's, my cousin was only about 9 or 10yrs old and we were tryin to pen up a big ole sal. He was running her up the chute when she turned around and come back at him. I hollared for him to wave his arms and yell, he did. That sal lowered her head and brought it back up between his legs picking him up off the ground and there they went, her running across the field with him riding backwards on top of her head holding on to her ears and still screaming...lol.... it took me an hour to get up off the ground and get the tears out of my eyes.

Re: Goat Football
They found out they can't run as fast as they did when they were younger. My husband was no help at all. He was sitting in the recliner watching football on TV. He said, just turn him loose. Of course they threw the football at him a time or two. That is when he really started raring up on his hind legs to charge, then they would run to all different directions. Poor goat, didn't know who to charge.

How funny, Cindy!
Our daughter won a trophy at a youth rodeo for dressing a goat! LOL! I could hear people in the stands saying, "Look at that little girl run!" LOL!

Re: Goat Football
Nothing adds excitement to a football game like a ornery billy goat joining in.

My grandmother's milk cow had a calf and wasn't it cute?!!! My uncle told me that I could pet it - knowing - the mother would chase me!!!!
I took off, pell-mell, and rolled under the fence!!! He was laughing his head off!!!
