Re: The Obama Deception

I am starting to lose my patience with Obama. He has been in office over two months now and still has not made the first payment on my car or house for me!

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

nor for me either.

How about those folks who rejoiced at his election and said, "Now I won't have to worry about my mortgage or my credit cards"? Are they becoming disillusioned? Or is it just too soon for him to make those payments?

This is an anecodotal story but it is a first hand experience from a business associate of mine. I was talking to him a few days after the election and he had just flown back from one of his companies locations in another state that he oversees.

They had a black employee at his company in that state who had called in sick the day of the election which did not surprise them as they knew he was excited about Obama potentially being elected President.

What did shock and surprise them is when he showed up the next day so giddy they thought he might be on drugs and when he was asked to do anything would say "uh uh. I ain't gonna do it. It's a new day baby!!!!".

Now obviously this guy is an extreme case but it made me wonder how many more nut jobs are out there who thought Obama being the first black man elected was magically going to bring them money, pay their bills, and make it so they didn't have to obey their boss any more if he was white. Arghhhhh.

CC, I'm not going to say much but unless this guy was a complete idiot, I'm sure he was being TIC.

He was not. They finally sent him home. He may have been on drugs but he was not TIC.

Well then he is a complete idiot. I would wager that there were not many other people nationwide who were forced to go home due to this sudden "freedom" from employers.
