LOUDON COUNTY, TN - Two little boys caused thousands of dollars worth of damage to a Loudon County church, according to officials.

Last month, members of the Lee Heights Baptist Church off Muddy Creek Road discovered the damage when they arrived for church services on Wednesday night.

The vandals used the children's toys and art supplies to damage the sanctuary, fellowship hall, and Sunday school rooms. They also smeared food for needy families and their own feces and urine on walls and floors.

According to Loudon County Sheriff Tim Guider, all that damage was done by two boys, aged 6 and 7. The boys are not members of the church, but Sheriff Guider said they had attended Vacation Bible School at the church the week before.

The church decided not to press charges because of the age of the boys. DCS was called in to investigate because of the apparent lack of supervision of the boys.

Sheriff Guider said there was a number of volunteers who showed up to help clean up and repair the church

Stone Them!

I'm only half kidding really. When kids are this disrespectful and destructive at that age it is a bad omen of far worse things when they get older.

To me the biggest question is where are the parents in all this? And I can't believe the church didn't press charges... what they did was teach a horrible lessen of cheap grace to these two kids....

And the parents should whip the living daily lights out of their little rear ends to where they can't sit for a few days......

This speaks volumes about those kids parents. That a six and seven year old would even think about doing such a thing means the parents must be horrible. I hope the legal system makes the parents liable for the repairs. I can't even imagine what these kids are going to grow up to be like if they are doing this at 6 and 7 years old.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Parents can also go to jail for whipping the living daylights out of their children, or for half-kiddingly stoning them.
