How Do We Mend The Wounded ?

Sadly it's been said that the Christian church is the only Army that buries it's wounded.

Sometimes people in the faith, for whatever reason fall away from where they once where in Christ,,maybe they were hurt and have trouble recovering and have isolated themselves from the body of Christ ,maybe they erred in judgement,or maybe in a weak moment fell into moral failure.

What are some ways we can nurse these people back into Spiritual health?
I understand not everyone who is fallen, desires restortation, but how can we help those that do ?

Some people fall and have trouble getting back up,I certainly don't want to bury the wounded.

I just just love and forgive. If they show godly sorrow try to treat them as though they never fell.

Also, let the past be the past and NEVER mention it. I know a man who had struggles and was continually asked how he was doing with "the issue". He was never able to shake it or put it behind him and move on.

Of course if they are in leadership they may need to be ministered to for a while before being allowed to minister again. If they feel frustrated during this time, advise them to write articles or sermons to keep filed for when they're on their feet.

Pro 18:19 A brother offended is harder to be won than a strong city: and their contentions are like the bars of a castle.

They can be won, its just harder.

Mercy, forgiveness, and love I think play a big part.

Jesus gave us some instructions concerning offenses and transgressions against one another. He knows what is best.
