This is a new movie coming out. It appears that this movie is being used as a tool to criticize Christians for believing it's wrong to be gay.

This movie will be on Lifetime this weekend. It's about a conservative, anti-gay Christian woman who's son was gay. She tried to force him to "become heterosexual" through her church, which ultimately lead to his suicide.

Some comments:

It will only continue to weaken the truth that people can overcome homosexuality, accepting weakness is weak.

I saw a clip of them discussing this on The View. It's a very strong agenda. I'm seeing all eyes turning to the church more than ever. Especially after Prop 8.

One of the ladies, on The View, said there are more churches accepting of gays - approving of it.

They were interviewing Sigourney Weaver. I thought it very ironic that they would compliment her movie and the award she took for "The Alien", show a clip with her calling the Alien the "B" word (I mean yelling it), clapping about her performance and then giving her kudos for this new movie.

Craziness abounds.

I see a possibility, unless God intervenes, of Apostolics being rounded up and put in Concentration camps!

We have had gay people come to our church. We don't treat them any different than anyone else.

The point of the thread is that this movie seems to be portraying the "church" as wrong for using the scripture to point out the sin. It has an agenda against the church.

They want us to accept it as life. It may be life for them, but it is still sin and an abomination in God's eyes.

Well what do they say when someone quotes them scripture regarding it being a sin...
