Practicing homosexuality is not a "label" used to judge anyone. It is an act, a sin, and one that is specifically discussed in the Bible. The act has already been judged in clear terms.
I don't believe that we should not reach out to all people, but I am a firm believer that we cannot afford for a minute to be unwilling to teach Bible.
