Re: Wal Mart Employee Trampled To Death

What a sad story.... the things that people will do because of GREED.

Walmart offered some of the same Black Friday deals online.... no fighting the crowds. I got the Crayola Glow station my son had on his wish list, and the Sandisk SD card my daughter had on her wish list so that she would be able to store more songs for her MP3 player. No extra items to look at to tempt me to spend more than I wanted to spend. I bought two items and hit the checkout button. Items will be delivered to my door in less than 10 days.

Amazon.com had a great sale, Picked up a few items at more than 70% off retail... free super saver shipping... items will be delivered straight to my door in 5-9 days.

Christianbook.com had some great deals also. Reasonable shipping cost, delivered to my door... no hassle return policy.

Why would I ever leave home to shop?

The little bit of shopping that I was going to do for Christmas is DONE.... never left the house--- and completed in less than an hour.

Tina, for some reason I believe you would find a deal, sale, or no sale & all from your home too!

Re: Wal Mart Employee Trampled To Death

The worst part... besides the fact that someone died is that people were mad about having to leave Walmart, and then wanted to go back in to continue their shopping, like nothing had happened! That Walmart should have closed for the rest of the day.

Like D4T, I am so glad that I don't celebrate xmas anymore!
