I am not arguing what the last step is, but I think people skip over the actual "believing" part of the scripture. You want to jump right into baptism and speaking in tongues which a lot of people do NOT understand. It is a spiritural growth process. When baby's are born they do not come out speaking do they? Do I believe in Acts 2:38 - without a doubt I do, but there is more to salvation than Acts 2:38.

M-o-D,
I appreciate that you might assume my answer for the last step...since Acts 2:38 is so often preached as a salvation destination rather than the first 1, 2 or 3 steps involving a new birth/beginning.

Since you did not answer what the LAST step was (according to your understanding) I will let it go rather than be mistaken as prying.

I am not sure what kind of point you are attempting to make - but I do not believe there is a "last" step to salvation.
