Re: Salvation: easy or hard?

Once upon a time I lived my life very hard in a way that was pleasing to the enemy of my soul. Now I live hard for my God and My Saviour Jesus Christ!! It's not hard at all to stay in a saved condition OR to stay in an usaved condition.....you just have to make up your mind either way.

Love that. "Just a made-up mind."

Pharisees thought they could perfect it too. Like Jesus asked, if we search our heart intents, motives, selfishness, thoughts... all of us still come out guilty.

Living in saved condition, is continuing to believe. Continuing to keep walking with Him. Accepting his free offer, and living a life of gratitude for it.

Wink Re: Salvation: easy or hard?

Come on people. We know how hard it is to get really saved!!! First, you go to church and listen to a preacher scream and holler for an hour!(Not all do though) then you go
down to the altar to give your wretched, miserable life to the Lord.

Then out of nowhere you are surrounded by 20 plus beings pulling you apart limb by
limb.

Something must really be wrong because they are all telling you to do something
different!! Sounds kinda like confusion at the tower of Babel!!

Someone is bumping under your chain so that tongues come out quicker.

You crack open one eye to see someone shove a microphone in your mouth and
holler......Ya hear that?

Another soul saved!!!! WOW!!!

Now you tell me..................if that's not hard.

You stand there confused, and bumfuzzled................Someone says....How do you feel?

You say...........different???

Someone else screams out......................I told you he/she got it!!!

Heb 5:9

9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that OBEY him;
KJV

Is anyone going to address this scripture I posted earlier?

Eternal salvation to who? Them that OBEY him.

OBEY in what way? Always obey and never make a single mistake, ever? Obey most of the time? Obey the most important commandments, always?

Just obey the worser commandments.

It just says "ovey him" Of course, we make mistakes but repentance is obeying.

So then, He becomes the Author of our faith - the Source, the First Cause and always the Primary Mover.

Our lives become the story that He writes (See John 21:25). Is that what you mean?
