I could think of a number of places to go eat. After cutting back on portion sizes, sugar intake, and watching caloric intake, I'm already having to weed out several places.
But, while the subject is at hand, Chipotle sure sounds good tonight. A burrito bowl with chicken, cilantro rice, lettuce, onions, guac, cheese, sour cream, medium and mild salsa. Oh, so good...
You do know that you can always ask for a to-go container right from the beginning of the meal, right? My mom and I often go out for lunch. Alot of the time, we buy one lunch and split it. Then we still have left-overs to take home for Walt to eat for breakfast. I think all restaurants give you FAR too much food!

Chicken Fajitas. Spiced up some chicken tenders, threw them in the oven with sliced onions. Grated some sharp cheddar cheese, sour cream, Pico de gallo, hot sauce - put a flour tortilla in the toaster and eat it. I'm not hungry for dinner, so that's all you get tonight.
Big pot of gumbo and cornbread. Strawberry blintzes for dessert.
Tomorrow morning Western casserole. Eggs, cheddar cheese, bell peppers, mushrooms, onions, black olives, ham and hash browns baked in a big Pyrex and served with fresh cheese, tomato slices and sour cream. I chopped the veggies this evening so it will be easy to do.
Anybody ever tried ziplock omelets? I was wanting to do them for some friends that we are having over but don't need a colossal flop with a house full of people so wanted to talk to some one who has actually made them. They sound easy and fun, with little clean up.
I used Tillamook Pepper Jack cheese (which is hormone free cheese) instead of Velveeta inside. And for my tortillas, I used Ezekiel Sprouted Grain. I used the standard white four tortillas for my husband. Tasted one and they are great, but I'm allergic to the Gluten.
I did homemade pizzas on the new stone Kristin got for my birthday. Wood smoked - very good!
