Pel, Are you saying I should send my Photo with the curriculum vitae?

#7 seems deceptive? I don't think I would feel comfortable if I have to "hide" something? Shouldn't we celebrate if someone has been restored?

Now before anyone gets in a tizzy, I don't mean "flaunt" anything. I mean celebrate the fact they have been restored to the Lord NOT a set of man made rules.

#8: What about all of those gaudy watches or shiny/fancy belts etc...

#9: Does this include the "French" or "American" mani/pedi? I just went to Tx Women's Conf this last weekend and this was ALL OVER THE PLACE. do they not realize they have to use colored fingernail polish for these also? I mean if we are gonna get nit picky lets get nit picky!

And saddest of all is that there is little to nothing about demonstrations of the Fruit of the Spirit, Godly living and stellar character (to name a few). Shouldn't these things matter more?

Re: Platform Standards

Hopefully there is more to this i.e. people on the platform should have the fruits of the spirit, etc.

No. Understand that if you hide that cut hair, you will look saved. If you don't hide it, people will want to keep praying you through to victory.

Re: Platform Standards

I really wouldn't quibble about #7, if it just said: All women wear their hair up. At least that accomplishes uniformity. But to make it for the purpose of hiding cut hair just seems wrong to me.

Almost like it's a little filter for those who DO CURRENTLY cut their hair, e.g., "Attention: Hide your cut hair! Thanks, the Management."

Hilarious! You are right tho...you do have to use "colored" nail polish. I've always wondered why WHITE is an acceptable color on your nails, but nothing else is...hmmm...makes me wonder somedays.
