Didn't think so.
Rail against Hollywood's movies and televisions sitcoms ... but don't touch Brother Louis L'Amour. *grin*
(for those who haven't read a L'Amour novel, Tyrel Sackett is a character from several L'Amour novels on a family, the Sacketts.)

I thought of a lots of things to add but I had better not...

I appreciate your stand but while you are at it please comment on the computer. Far more evil than TV has ever been yet most preachers have one. Even the Radical Kansas district.

I cannot disagree with you! So many times I worry about this. I wish that I had all the answers. Wish I could see a few weeks down the road, a few years down the road, but would really be happy if I could see just a day down the road so that I would know how to watch and guard and protect the flock.
All I can say is that I have an internet filter and so far it hasnt let me down. I cannot turn it off because I only have half of the password. My wife has the other half. I'm trying to be balanced on this, but I am so worried that it will destroy many more people than tv ever did. Whereas the computer is more of a tool, we know that it does not stop there. What more can I say?

I thought L'Amour was standard Apostolic literature? You mean to tell me that there are Apostolics who do NOT read L'Amour and do NOT know about the GREAT SACKETT's? The world is going to come to an end. Life as we know it is over.

I have a collection of over 600 western novels including many L'Amour. I inheritated them from my dad. He read all of them plus more that went to my nephew.I have read absolutely none of them. Just not my cup of tea.

You know you can do the same thing with a cable box. You can shut off all channels that you do not want to watch, and someone else can have the password.
