Maybe a little dramatic, but I just bought a black shirt. I will be dressed in all black tonight. I'm in mourning. I didn't need to do it, but sometimes I get a little melodramatic. Anyway, it expresses the way that I truly feel in my spirit.

Eze 8:15 ¶ Then said he unto me, Hast thou seen [this], O son of man? turn thee yet again, [and] thou shalt see greater abominations than these.

Eze 8:16 And he brought me into the inner court of the LORD'S house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar, [were] about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the LORD, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east.

Eze 8:17 ¶ Then he said unto me, Hast thou seen [this], O son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have filled the land with violence, and have returned to provoke me to anger: and, lo, they put the branch to their nose.

Eze 8:18 Therefore will I also deal in fury: mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: and though they cry in mine ears with a loud voice, [yet] will I not hear them.

LOL @ Theresa!

Has nothing at all to do with being political. It's about thinking before you speak and sometimes it's better to not speak until you think or until you're ready.

oh, I got what he meant..I didnt mean political in the sense that he is literally being political, I meant more like he's using political tactics talking in circles - saying a whole lot but actually saying nothing.

I read it and was like "yeah, arent we all, and so?" LOL...dont leave us hanging with some possible juicy insight - until you are ready to tell us something...LOL

anyway - carry on

Sorry T...

There are no juicy insights to be shared. You'll have to wait until Thad shows up. He seems to have them most of the time.

I know my voice means little. But I have watched over the course of 15 years as a slow eroding of the Life and Power of God has slipped from the church. God has not changed, but something with the church has. Bro Strange knows what I am talking about, as we have discussed this to some degree.

I am reminded of the scripture in Haggai that states "Who [is] left among you that saw this house in her first glory? and how do ye see it now? [is it] not in your eyes in comparison of it as nothing?"

What we see right now is considered "nothing" compared to what God has done in the past. But the promise to me is found in the verses that follow this one.

Hag 2:4 Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the LORD; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the LORD, and work: for I [am] with you, saith the LORD of hosts:
Hag 2:5 [According to] the word that I covenanted with you when ye came out of Egypt, so my spirit remaineth among you: fear ye not.
Hag 2:6 For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it [is] a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry [land];
Hag 2:7 And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts.
Hag 2:8 The silver [is] mine, and the gold [is] mine, saith the LORD of hosts.
Hag 2:9 The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.
