I thought I was linked to you on facebook once too, but now can't find you. Glad to see you on here and know you are alive and well.

Is there any way I could get your writings on Communion? I remember discussing it over on the GNC.

I was doing some missionary work in Central America when the renewal for the url came up. Since I was without a computer for a while, I was unaware that the time for renewal had expired. Thus, I lost it. I am going to try to get it back from whoever has it now. They have not used it since I lost it. If not that one, I will get another one.

I was on FB for a while, but that got to be too demanding for me. I didn't want my friends to think I was unresponsive so thought it would be better to delist. I am thinking of going back on. If I do, I want you and I to be first to become friends.

I loaned my cd on communion to my daughter, who loaned it to her ex-pastor, who said that he gave it back to the daughter but later found out he loaned it to a relative of his. I'm still trying to track it down. I don't want to have to do it over again. I'll let you know.

Howz them pretty girls. All married by now? They sure were blessed to have you as their hard-working and caring mom as you have been. I've prayed for you a lot since I know that things have not always been easy for you. I trust that you still have that good job.

Had to opportunity to drive over to Copan Ruinas in June, but alas, the tall gringo was nowhere to be found Take a bus down and stay with us in Guatemala City if you come down again soon.

Not sure how you liked it, but I found the folks there to be pretty friendly.

When were you there?

It's my favorite place in CA. It's clean. Folks are friendly and about the safest place in Honduras. I'm going back but not sure exactly when.

When are ya coming home?

I was there toward the end of June for a couple of days. A friend and I then drove to Tikal, Belize, and on up to Texas.

Just got back from the States on Saturday, so it may be next December until I get back. Copan is a lot closer If you fly into Guatemala City after June 17, I may be able to chauffeur you up to the Ruins if you want...it's only a few hours from here.

Thanks for the kind offer. I may very well take you up on that. I've been promising Tim Joyner that I would visit him in Belize too. He is doing a wonderful work there.

I usually fly into San Pedro Sula, but I had wondered if Guatemala City would be somewhat closer and some less expensive too. After all, Copan Ruinas is not that far from the border. However, I've been scared away from Guatemala and especially in that area from some of the stories that I've heard...though probably exaggerated. I'm getting too old to take on two or three young men at once, especially when they are armed.

btw, howz the work progressing? There is a upc sister missionary down there somewhere also. Do you know her? Her name slips my mind at the moment but I have had some communication with her.

If I'm not mistaken, I think Guatemala City is closer to Copan than is San Pedro Sula, and I'm sure it's cheaper to fly there, too.
