Still not making sense. So I have no security and trust in the covenant? In God's part of it? His promise?

Really is that what I said. It is bilateral contract. God is always faithful does and does what he promises which does not mean you are going to receive promises of a covenant if unfaithful. Faithful and unfaithful are words only used to those who can be judged under the same conditions of terms. I guess many of those in the churches in Revelations are not being compelled to turn from there enmity with God.
I'm not defending lives lived in rebellion to God. Disclaimer #2,345

God has always been faithful. Even Israel, in all it's unrighteousness was redeemed in Christ. What is it he's faithful to? The "if you do this, I'll do that" or "I will save you if you believe?"

If it's the former, we are right back where we started. My salvation is in my own hands -- I can save myself or ........ myself.

Not the Gospel.

It's how I finish my last breath, not the relationship in-between? Talk about loopholes! So at the end of time is when this covenant is judged? (BTW, where do we get the idea of "judging covenants." That's not really how they worked in antiquity, or today!)

are you serious?
Again, incredulity but no explanation.

AGAIN, what happens WHEN I sin? I'm temporarily out of covenant and I need to scramble to get it right again before I perish and am judged as lost? What happens when we were born again? Just brought into covenant? That's all? You sure? What happens when I sin (which happens to some degree everyday)? You can see the anxiety I have, feeling like the duty to save myself is on me having to live up to terms that are out of reach (not to mention this isn't the Gospel at all).

So you following/being led by the Spirit and being "considered" in right standing is saving yourself? LOL
However you couch the terms, my salvation would be based on my performance. So... yes.

1Ti 1:15 The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost.

He is talking about Christ came to save sinners(unbelievers GENERAL POINT OR MISSION OF THOSE DEAD IN SIN) of whom I am the foremost which is the context of what he did before being saved. To "SAVE" sinners of which he was when CHRIST SAVED HIM from his sins of ignorance he committed. Which was when he persecuted the church. GET your context right and stop your false teaching.
"of which I am" is still present tense, and it's not the last time Paul referred to himself as a sinner either!

Again, no one taught anything false on the above scripture. It was a quip to another poster than you took issue with. You are offering your interpretation of the above verse, which I already mostly agreed!!! Get over yourself.

The only thing false in here is your Judaizing, spitting on the Gospel!
