Re: How easy is it to Lose Salvation?

A couple of scriptural examples come to mind that make me dis-believe in eternal security.

Demas

No man having put his hand to the plow....

Lest I myself should be a castaway.

Sounds like Paul thought you could "lose" salvation.

That's when I have to plead "the mysteries of God" - - I don't know.

The grace would be shown to me when I repented of committing adultery after knowing better.
The grace is ever present. Where sin abounds, grace does even more abound.

Living life as an adulterer may mean you begin live life unbelieving to the point of unbelief -- which is putting you outside of Christ (Heb 10:13), but again, though many of us don't fully, what we do know of grace is that He's not a gotcha God, He loves us, did the work and is faithful until the end.

Re: How easy is it to Lose Salvation?

I've heard of "Sea of forgetfulness" but I cant find that term anywhere in the Bible...another example against eternal security ive heard is the servant that was forgiven his debt but didnt forgive his fellowservent his debt...the first servants debt was reapplied.I'm not sure if the clincher was unforgiveness though you know?Like maybe thats the only way you sins are brought back is if you are unforgiving towards someone else....hmmmmmm
