I'm not just talking about Apprehended. I'm talking about the false, self proclaiming world we live in. I don't have any problem with the lame man, he was important enough to be mentioned in the Bible. So, by your own words, I am assuming that you believe in everything that is reported on TV now days and if someone said it's the truth (again no reflection on Apprehended nor the church of which he spoke .... I know the Manguns very well, and they are great people and I am sure Apprehended is also, altho I do not know him, I don't think) it's the truth! Well, I've been around and seen a lot of things and somethings I don't put a blanket approval on. And I could in fact give you the name, address and phone number of a lady in Fort Worth that was given up to die with cancer, 45 or 46 years ago and she's still alive.

And further more, I did not say I didn't believe Apprehended, I simply asked him if he in fact saw the things he made mention of.

Theophil do you believe everything you hear?

That truly is a great miracle, that anything spiritual could take place at GC.

I believe everything a man of God, like Apprehended, says about what he saw.

I deeply appreciate that.

We are eyewitnesses of his majesty and glory. I've seen many great miracles. My wife was raised from the dead. That is well documented. My mother was so seriously injured in a car accident in 1952 that the doctors said she would never walk. Shortly after the doctors proclaimed her to be an invalid for the rest of her life, she said, "If I can get to church, God will heal me." They got her to church on a cot where she was lain near the wall to the right of the pulpit. After church, she was prayed for. She got up and walked. She walked down the stairs at 722 Octavia Street in New Orleans, went home and never went back to bed again. John Raymond Cupid (the current Pastor) who was just a young boy as myself at the time, often recounts that great miracle which he saw.

The only name that has any importance at all is the Name of Jesus. I pay little attention to names.

Re: Something I thought I would never see.........

One of the greatest miracles I can attest to happened in Miami in 1971. I guess I was just fortunate to have been in the right place at the right time. It all began before service, when an African American woman that I did not know, walked up to me and asked me if I would take her son to the rest room. I thought it strange that a woman woud ask me to do this as I just a kid myself (14). But, I believe God was in it so I would know without a doubt that all this was true. I consented and saw that her son, about 7 or 8 years old, was in leg braces all the way to to his hips. He walked on metal crutches and needed to be steadied as he, well, did his business. I helped him the best I could and led him back to his mother.

The service started and progressed and I never saw the woman or child again (large crowd)... until the service was over. As we began to file out, the evangelist called out.... "Hey, everybody, look what Jesus did!" Everyone turned back to the platform to see the preacher holding the boy in one arm and those heavy metal braces in the other hand. He sat the boy down and he started walking, then ruunning back and forth across the platform. I tell you, I thought church was going to start all over again as people began to rejoice and praise the Lord. Thats ONE miracle that I was priviledged to have personal knowledge of and know for a fact it was true.

I recieved the Holy Ghost in that meeting on Jan. 30, 1971. And the preachers name was R. W. Schambach. I saw the kid again a few months later. He was still walking and running without braces... or even crutches.

As a young girl when I used to visit my grandmother, I remember she would always listen to a Bro. Schambach on the radio at a certain time each day. It was back in the late 60's or early 70's. I had not thought of that name again until I read it just now. I wonder if it was the same preacher.

Re: Falla's Gma, First to Obey Apostolic Message

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Let me tell a little more about my little Grandmother, Lizzie Blakey.

As I mentioned before, she was the first of our family to hear and obey
the apostolic plan of salvation.
After God had healed her as she lay dying with typhoid fever in 1926 (I made an
error in the first post of saying it was in 1928), she was 28 yrs. old. My dad who
was 8 yrs. old witnessed the doctor telling his father,"Lizzie's dying! See the blue on
her feet and legs".
A few years later, the message of Acts 2 came to their small town and after search-
ing the scriptures to see if these things be so or not, she found them to be so, and
obeyed this message, along with her young son, my father.(14 yrs. old by now).

After God had healed Grandma, she continued with her young son, to read the Word
of God. Faith came by hearing and "eating" the Word of God.

During this time her young daughter became very ill with what they later decided was
appendecitis. It got to where she could hardly eat or drink and became very weak.

Grandma was desperately trying to trust God as she believed that healing was included
in the atonement. That Jesus suffered stripes for our healing and if we didn't avail our-
selves of it, He took them in vain.

It came to the place where her side turned dark and my grandfather, who was a self-
taught "vet" told her, "You've waited too late, gangrene has set in". The pastor's
mother had already come out to their farm and told her if the child died, it would bring
on a reproach to the church. Grandma said, No, Sis. Sally, "What brings a reproach on
the church is when the church preaches that God can heal but as soon as someone
gets sick, they run to the doctor". So I can imagine what Grandma was going through
with both the pastor's mother and now her husband saying it was too late. What was
a young mother who God had healed when she was yet a Methodist, to do.

Leaving her husband to watch their daughter (I think she was 8), Grandma went down
to a little persimmon thicket where she would go to get alone with God. She poured out
her heart to God, telling Him she had endeavored to trust Him and knew He could heal
her child, BUT, "nevertheless, YOUR WILL be done". She wept as she gave her child up
to God.(reminds me of Abraham and his son, Isaac). She arose and went to the house
to find the child sitting up in bed, asking for food and drink. She lived well past 70 yrs.

Many years later, as an adult, living in Garland, Tx, this daughter went to the doctor
for an unrelated situation. The physican who attended her, asked her who had done
her appendectomy. She told him the story. All he could say was "Incredible"!!!

Grandma trusted God all the remaining days of her life. She covered her family with
prayer. She "ate" the Word of God daily. I know I am a recipient of her prayers.

Blessings,

Falla39
