bingo!

I responded respectfully that I was not in the org that we were raised in and that we didn't embrace the traditional standards that we were taught primarily because either they weren't scriptural or that they were misinterpretations of scripture. I told her that in many cases the standards we were taught were also communicated to us as requirements for salvation. I told her the Bible teaches that Jesus is our salvation and trusting in Him is all we need.

She wrote back and said she had "trouble with cutting her hair" and that someone told her "the angels won't be around you anymore". I set the record straight, and told her that the Bible teaches no such thing. I told her that Jesus would never let strands of protein to come between Him and her. We wouldn't do that with our own children, how much more God?

Pray for this woman. I want to see her discover the beauty of God's grace and enjoy His acceptance rather than guilt and condemnation from pretenders.
Well said, DB.

I Corinthians 1:18
"For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God."

Therefore, a woman who cuts her hair is in the same sin as a cross-dresser or lesbian. And a man who wears his hair uncut is guilty of a sin on par with homosexuality.

There will be no bobbed hair women in the Bride.

You folks claiming only faith in the blood saves are you saying folks can have faith in the blood and be a murderer or child molester and be saved?

Sound more like a bunch of Baptists and Apostolics.
Preaching that a woman will go to hell if she trims her hair is false doctrine, plain and simple.

The Kingdom of Heaven is more than all this legalism friends and brethren. Jesus calls us to a single standard... Himself. We must be conformed into the image and likeness of Christ Jesus Himself... not our Pentecostal traditions (idolatry). Christ commands that we do only two things.... Love God with all our heart, mind, soul, and strength. And love our neighbor as ourselves. In this, the entire law is fulfilled.

Amen!

However, I would like to see Bro Epley list ALL the requirements to make it to heaven. He has once said unless people have obeyed all 3 steps (with words Jesus Christ spoke over them, they're lost)

Now, he says if a woman cuts her hair, she is lost.

So, I would to know Bro Epley, what are ALL the requirements to make it to heaven? The requirements for men and women...

Leaders and church-goers who condemn and become stumbling blocks to the Father's little ones are in grave danger.

This woman wrote to me and thanked me. She asked if she had further questions could she address them with me. I am happy to try to help. I will never apologize for pointing people to the liberty and freedom found at the foot of the cross. The love of Jesus, the grace of God, that is the Gospel of Jesus Christ that sets captives free!

I mean, how hard is that? Where does hair come in here?
And don't imagine that if you are so deluded about
a simple thing like hair, or pants, that you can tell
anyone about Christ. Thank God that at least
your churches are dying in droves.
