I believe in prophetic dreams. A couple weeks ago, I dreamed there was a little girl that was being sexually abused by an old man. The dream was pretty detailed. Anyway, later that day, I found out my husband was on a jury trial that day. He actually was picked foreman. He came home and told me he had been picked but could not talk about the trial until it was over. I told him about my dream. His mouth fell open and then, later on, after the trial was over, he told me that was what the trial was about. He says "How do you do that?" Well, I am not doing anything. I think it is an extreme sensitivity to the world around me. For good and sometimes for bad. But I think since my husband was foreman, it may have had an effect on him. They ended up in a hung jury anyway.
Jay, your dream had a 50/50 chance of coming true. I still don't know when to consider dreams prophetic or not. Although there are times when I strongly feel things and it does sway my choices.
